211 Squadron RAF

Over the course of World War II over 80 Australians served with this
Squadron, from its UK beginnings in 1938, on Blenheim operations in the
Western Desert, Greece and Palestine, under training at Wadi Gazouza,
in the Far East on Sumatra and Java, then with the Beaufighter and Mosquito
in India, Burma and finally Thailand.

The Squadron's story is recounted on my website at
www.211squadron.org.

I'd be very pleased to hear from any members who may have any
photographs of the Squadron, its men or aircraft, or who are in contact
with any surviving ex-members.
